The MZ34 is a free air cooled, reed valve controlled single-cylinder-2-stroke engine with one carburetor and Nikasil coated cylinder. It has one of the highest power to weight ratio available on the 30 HP engine market. Lots of high end torque gives this engine outstanding flying capability. Tuned exhaust ensures aximum power and quiet operation. The MZ34 weighs a mere 19kg (42 lbs) including muffler and belt reduction. All models are supplied complete with recoil starter and exhaust system. It is designed for powered paragliding applications (PPG), single or two place PPG trikes, single place HG trikes and single place ultralight planes.
